RESPONSE
Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Foundation contracted Imagine Believe to source all the produciton elements for this year’s Big Night Out - a stunning evening for 280 invited celebrities and guests

With the event being for charity, budgets were obviously of great importance, but the calibre of the event could not be compromised!

Working closely with a selection of carefully chosen suppliers, Imagine Believe transformed Shoreditch Town Hall with outdoor lighting, intimate passageways, an inspiring reception and a stunning dining room using a combination of modern fixtures and period 1950’s effect lighting on the stage.

With music by Jamie Cullum and his full band, we provided an extensive PA chosen specifically for its combination of clarity and small form-factor - space was at a premium in the main space. The event was a resounding success raising nearly £200,000 for the foundation.

RESPONSE
The Rouge Partnership employed the services of Imagine Believe in February to initially act as design consultants for this exciting project, combining the production value of the corporate events world with the challenges presented by a rock and roll festival feel. Pretty soon, a natural evolution meant that Imagine Believe was contracted by Rouge to entirely design and manage all technical elements of the festival, including CAD drawing, three megawatts of power, 42 square meters of LED wall, staging for three venues, seven live feed cameras, 280 meters of truss, PA as used by Lennie Kravitz and over 350 lighting fixtures.

Providing Lighting designers and operators, production and stage management teams, and carefully sourcing suppliers on behalf of Rouge, Tom of Imagine Believe pulled together all production elements on this project.

With constantly evolving client requirements, The Rouge Partnership greatly valued the close and personal relationship developed throughout this project where no change is insurmountable. Imagine Believe’s constant communication and presence in their own office meant Rouge knew exactly where they stood with their budget at all times. Not only was the event a great success all round, but by working together in the sourcing of suppliers, we managed to save a substantial amount of money without compromising Rouge and Sky’s high production values.

RESPONSE
Imagine Believe, working to a tight budget, took the already stunning (but somewhat bright!) venue, and transformed it into a beautiful warm, welcoming environment for the guests arriving from all over Europe. We also sourced the equipment for both sound and video for the presentation, as well as making sure models were suitably lit for the demonstrations, taking place throughout the evening.

RESPONSE
Imagine Believe was contracted by Slipstream Production Services (working with W1 productions) to work at Camden’s legendary Koko club to operate a non-stop rolling line-up for 10 days of the iTunes Festival.

With two to three acts per day, including Hadouken!, Gabriella Cilmi, The Script and The Feeling, variety was the key to success.

A rig of Martin Professional fixtures, combined with the flexibility and quick access of a Pearl Expert console, gave the operator everything he needed to make the gig look right for each and every set.

PUTTING ON THE GLITZ

RESPONSE
Once again working in the familiar venue of Old Billingsgate Market, Imagine Believe worked closely with the client for a month leading up to the event, as well as with the in-house equipment supplier.

The initial task in hand was to build on the in-house lighting and sound rigs to make them more appropriate for this event. A re-design to cater for additional stages and acts was implemented throughout the venue, with special notice paid to the features installed by Invisible Blue to really ‘theme’ the event.

Imagine Believe then worked alongside the show director and choreographer to ensure sound effects, videos, cameras and lighting were all in keeping with the period cabaret-style show. Tight schedule meant that preparation was essential, and Imagine Believe designers and operators worked together in pre-plotting the entire show using the GrandMA 3D visualiser, before joining their own stage management and production team on site for the event.

Raising a substantial amount of money for Comic Relief, the event was an outstanding success, with Victoria Walker of Rouge saying of Imagine Believe: “As always, your management of the event was a trouble free area and your creative lighting design really turned the show into a spectacular! Please pass on my thanks to your crew - nothing was too much for them and I really felt their commitment to making the event work.”
